A motorcyclist decided to attach a camera to his helmet to participate in a street race. The result? Footage that looks like it came straight out of a video game.
Lukas Maurer, a Swiss road racer, recorded his thrilling participation in the 2025 edition of the Macau Grand Prix.
You might even think you’re watching footage from a racing video game, but in reality, it shows the 29 minutes and 59 seconds Maurer took to complete the 12 laps of the race.
After qualifying and starting in ninth position, Maurer managed to move up the ranks and finish in fifth place. Davey Todd won the race starting from pole position on his BMW M 1000 RR, while Peter Hickman finished second on his own BMW M 1000 RR.
Emo Kostamo crossed the finish line in third place on another M 1000 RR, and Rob Hodson was the highest-placed non-BMW rider, riding his Honda CBR1000RR to fourth place.
Maurer’s Yamaha was the best-performing Yamaha of the entire race, finishing with a significant gap ahead of the R1M ridden by Ryan Whitehall, who ended up in 17th place.
